I wish I did some research before buying this desk. At the time I really needed a desk for a computer I just built so I went to staples and bought it on a whim. Now I regret it. The "wood" part seems to be made out of MDF and the edges are chipped. This desk is also way too high to use a mouse and keyboard. I measured 31" high and my shoulders hurt so much, but it's the only thing I got. My OCD is also kicking in... I placed this desk against a wall with windows and whenever the line shines it I can see all the imperfections of the glass, I see streaks, smudges, a ton of lines(scratches) and dust, even after I clean this desk I still see them and I clean it again. I wish there was a way to trade this thing for a Z line Claremont.

We bought it for home office and it is perfect - classy office look that still looks "homey". Assembly instructions are clear, assembly itself was fast and easy. Desk seems very well made, good quality materials, design, construction.
