You got you Mid-tower storage area on the bottum right, and there is enough room for cables sticking out of the Tower on the back and the wires go thru back port of the desk... NICE!!On the other side you got a drawer for files (wires and gizmos for me) and office stuff, and there is a thinner drawer above that one. Above the second thinner drawer is a slide out tray which is very convient for lets say a small scanner or something like that... I'm gonna put my PS3 there :-# Behind that slide out tray slightly above it is another convient Cable Port #cable/wire pass-tru)for Wires...again NICE!! So far the following has been describled, the CPU Piller, and the 2-drawer/Slide out Tray. Ok now moving up is the Middle of the desk, there are two empty section above each piller (there is a small gray/metal piece in each one for support..very sturdy# These empty section are Great... I didn't have any of the problems putting together that everyone else did here. It is no more irritating than any other self assemble furniture. The color is a little darker than pictured most of my friends think its black its very hard to see the brown tint under a conventional light.Now, for the bad news, this is a tiny desk for the price. The height is fine but the desktop space is pretty small and even smaller are the shelves and drawers they are tiny and the picture is totally misleading here there is no way the tower pictured could fit or the scanner. I am pretty sure these pics were photoshopped in to fit. The shelf with the scanner on it can hold an Ipad pretty neatly but unless you have a tiny scanner no way. The drawers together are not as big as one file drawer. Bottomline- its a nice SMALL desk if you have limited space and don't mind the price but if you want a real desk with a decent amount of storage put a few extra dollars with... Read more 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  Nice desk, bit small for a mid-size tower, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: TECHNI MOBILI Atua Wood Computer Workstation in Espresso (Office Product) Recently got this and put it together, it does look nice, and the construction is decent and it feels solid once together (drawers and keyboard slide is very quite and smooth). It is basically black (they call it espresso), and has some laminate cover on the wood that has 'grain' patterns on it. I did *not* need a power screwdriver to assemble this, and had no issues with hole alignment like others did.The few downsides I have noticed are: 1) The side where the CPU goes is smallish - the picture they show in the ad makes it appear the case would be flush with the front, but of course cables stick out a bit, especially the video cable, and so the cpu sticks out an inch or so (the bottom curve is 19" from the back). 2) The 'shelf' on the CPU side is a bit under 17" from the bottom and is not adjustable at all, so might not fit your CPU (the shelf doesn't need to be used for structural purposes and can be left out). Computer desk that is developed top to bottom rather than flat in a trench, then you will be able to preserve even more area. A straight area table increases rarely used area in your home, making you more area to add other parts. Sure, it will not actually make your room larger, but the room offered by a area table makes it seem like it is and that is what's important.
