I liked the way this desk "looked". The design was sensible, and it incorparated some basic features that I wanted, like the slide out mouse/writing table, the drawer and the printer stand at the back right. I relied on other reviews here to make the final decision. And I was pleasantly surprised.I was hoping that the finish was close to cherry. It is close, but it is a bit more red/orange than real cherry. But quite attractive. Assembling the desk was simple and straight-forward. Each part is numbered and easy to identify, including the many sets of screws, which are individually bagged and labeled. All the holes were pre-drilled and took the screws easily. Make sure you note the left and right sliders for the drawer and slide-out board when you remove the plastic wrappers. It took about an hour to complete the 10 or so assembly steps using one cordless screwdriver with a phillips head drive. One reviewer here... Very happy that I purchased this desk. It is not cheaply made, you can tell. Very sturdy and was happy that it didn't cost a great deal of money. Would recommend to anybody! |
