They love being on the computer and watching each other playing, & the long seat accomodates for that. I don't think it would accomodate up to age 10 though, I would say 8 the most with leg room and desk height. They even provide the allen wrench so you need no additional tools. Much nicer than I anticipated and my two grandkids (ages 5 & 2-1/2) were delighted. Now they have there own space for coloring, building, and little craft projects. This desk has an option to buy the grow with me package that allows you to accommodate your child as they grow. Great buy!
