This review is from: Mission Espresso Solid Wood Writing Desk Home Office Computer Desk Ordered this desk for our son for Christmas. I was a little concerned ordering it site unseen. Downfall was the price of shipping was almost the same as the price of the desk. There are lots of pieces once you take them out of the box. The directions were a little confusing at times & it took a couple of hours to assemble the desk but we had all the pieces down to the last screw. Once we got the desk put together we were very pleased with the quality & sturdiness of the desk. Excellent quality for the price. Had no scratches or chips in the finish. Very nice looking desk. This review is from: Mission Espresso Solid Wood Writing Desk Home Office Computer Desk At $100, the desk is well built desk, but not hardwood. It is a composite wood material, which was contrary to what the company told me when I emailed them before my purchase. The desk looks like it's dark brown in the picture, but there is definitely a red tint to it under light. The packaging was pretty beat up, but the desk survived with only one blemish on one of the drawer faces. The instructions were easily followed, but because this desk has over a hundred parts it took 2-3 hours to put it together. Overall this is a great desk for the money and will be a great addition to your office.
