I had to have something I could use in a chair, in bed, or on the couch. It had to tilt. It also had to raise and lower as needed. I liked this immediately because of the ribs that hold the items in place when the tray is in a tilted position. Overall this item was well worth the money I paid for it and the use I got out of it. I still use it and I really don't need it at this point. It is nice to have something I can just pull over the bed and not have to lift. I loved the double table top, so I could work on my laptop and have my cup of coffee or reference materials right next to me.The downside of the product, and items you should consider before you purchase are: a little wobbly side to side because the sliding tubes do not fit tight; the arm of the tray is a bit on the short side so you cannot sit and work in a bed without being closer to... Construction required but came with all parts including some spare screws which I appreciated but did not need. One of the plastic guard rails was cracked - I just glued it back together rather than mess with an exchange. I am using it and while it does rock some side to side it seems otherwise fairly sturdy. This desk's minimum height is rather high so be sure to check the specs before ordering. |
