I love this desk. It was a little tricky to put together, but I was still able to do it in about a half hour, by myself. It's been in place for 4 months now, and I've even been able to push and slide it around without having to take it apart, and without worrying that I would weaken screws or nails because there are none! I'm thrilled with it. As an adult, I have plenty of room to sit at the desk with my legs comfortably underneath, and the amount of storage is great. The shelves on the top part are rather small, but I found them useful for thinks like external harddrives, a caller ID globe, and business cards. They're also a good place to put small items that really have nowhere else to go. I had a small space and this desk was perfect. The desk top workspace area is large enough to accomodate a flatscreen monitor (possible 19" max), keyboard & mouse plus some workspace. I would not suggest a regular monitor. A laptop is perfect for a student workplace & studying too. The shelves are not deep enough for a large size printer. It is very sturdy when asembled and equipment/items are placed on it. Unfortunately it took me more than 3 minutes to assemble but that's okay I ended up with the perfect desk for my family and student. |
