Not too hard to assemble, but don't use a power drill for the screws that go into the top piece of wood - we did and the tip of the screw went thru. Oops.Bought this to keep my curious toddler from turning on and off my computer. Only thing that I don't like about this is that if the door aren't 100% open the keyboard tray will create scratches on the inside of the doors. The parts were all labeled very clear. The only thing I can say is to really be careful when attaching the doors. Otherwise it holds more than my bulky desk used to. Assembly instructions are clear. Unit went together very easily. It feels quite sturdy for engineered wood.(its not solid wood). One issue is that the finish scratches very easily. Also my computer looks to be the same size as the one dipicted the the stock photo. Its a mid tower. In order to close the doors ,I had to cut the backing and push the computer all the way in with the back sticking out about 2 inches . Other than that, its a very nice unit. Be advised though, the same is available at walmart for $119 with free ship to store. |
